The ARISE project is developing an electronic library, including relevant resources on Sickle Cell Disease for patients and healthcare professionals.
You can search contents directly typing your keyword, filtering the results in limited areas or, without any keyword, selecting one or more tags.
You can include more than one keyword, using the “AND” logic and you can apply more than one filter.
The first two babies have been screened for Sickle Cell Disease at the Special Care Baby Unit of Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital – ABUTH Main hospital, Shika in Nigeria.
We are glad to announce the launch of the Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) Newborn Screening (NBS) programme in Zambia that will be held on 21 April 2021 at 11:30 AM (South Africa time) at the Arthur Davison Children’ Hospital in Ndola.
