Session summary
In this enlightening teaching session on the spectrum of bleeding disorders encountered in clinical practice, gain invaluable insights into their varied symptoms, underlying mechanisms and diagnosis in the laboratory. The session will be led by Dr Thynn Thynn Yee.

Biography
Dr Thynn Thynn Yee is a haematologist currently working at the Katharine Dormandy Haemophilia and Thrombosis Centre, Royal Free Hospital, London. Dr Yee initially trained and worked in Myanmar. Her passion is to help improve global healthcare and specialise in haemostasis. With the support of the World Federation of Haemophilia (WFH) and International Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH), Dr Yee leads twinning programmes between the Katharine Dormandy Haemophilia and Thrombosis Centre and haematology departments in low-resource countries.
Dr Yee enjoys reaching out to healthcare professionals from all corners of the globe and with her combined experience of working in developed and developing countries she has been able to support the learning and sharing of thoughts and information among pathologists in many countries.
